today i went to a baby shower. we ate tamales and drank tecate and listened to latin music. there was a contest between all of the men to see who could put a diaper and a jumpsuit on a plastic doll the fastest. the winner got condoms and a tub full of vaseline.
then i went to the laundromat, where some guy with danzig tattooed on his neck kept asking if i wanted to go eat calzones.
i told him you were coming over for dinner and wished it was true.
